Dr. White is a fantastic professor, he is goal oriented towards making the College of Education at UNF the best in the state. He is always available and ready to help in any way he can, but you have to be willing to work.

Dr. White is one of the best professors Ive had at UNF. He is truly caring of his students and is extremely knowledgeable in his content area as well as knowledgeable about life. He also makes class super fun and is the reason why I want to be an educator.

Dr. White seems heavily invested in his students. He takes great care in laying out a course that does not deter us from teaching. You'll easily pass if you read the textbook, but there's a lot of extra credit. One day each of Elementary School and HS observation are required, so make sure to get an excused absence from your other professors.

Prof. White gave interesting lectures. I appreciated that he was very laid back about lectures and assignments but I wish I had been challenged a little more in his class.

By far the best educator I have had the experience of meeting. His class is not difficult if you go and participate in class discussions. TRUST ME you want to go to class! His experiences and knowledge are a fresh take on the education system and honestly have influenced my styles of teaching. John White is the reason I became an educator.

Weekly reading assignments are graded. You will need the book. Not many assignments, but they are very time consuming. DONT WAIT TILL THE LAST MINUTE. He's usually pretty helpful, but slow to reply to emails. Starts every lecture with " Daily Humor". And theres an in class game almost every lecture. This was such a fun class.

Show up & do the work, you'll get an A+! You have weekly reading notes that are simple & several projects that are fun to do and creative. He makes his class less like work and more like fun learning. Not a hard class at all to pass. He is a very funny guy, albeit very left wing so if that doesn't mesh with you, he won't be the teacher for you.

Humorous. Witty. Awesome professor! He makes class a TON of fun! He really helps students in and out of the class (even if he isn't in office hours due to a new kiddo). He is really easy-going. He starts off each class with a Daily Dose of Humor. I would highly recommend taking his class just for the experience that is JOHN WHITE!

Fun, fast, furious, makes a "boring" subject interesting and fun. His classes are active and time flies by.Very fair and helpful. Random quizzes,so read your textbook and PowerPoint.Assignments are time consuming but not difficult. Great Professor.

Dr. White is a great guy and makes class fun but he does knida a poor job of explaining his critical tasks and just hopes you understand from the assignment prompt. U must read thbook cuz he does pop quizzes randomly. Attendance is mandatory and essiential to ur grade.

Professor White is one of the fairest Professors I have ever come across. He expects you to do your work and if you don't, it will show in your grade. He gets to know his class and is extremely helpful outside of class as well. Great teacher to take if you are even remotely interested in the field of ed.

Dr White is one of the best professors at UNF. His interest in the pedagogy is astounding and he is willing to assist students, even if it is conflicting with his personal schedule. He loves when students email him if there are any questions and extends added help if you are unsure about how to complete an assignment.

seriously one of the best professors UNF has. Great guy in and out of the classroom. Really wants to help everyone be successful. Makes class fun while still getting the educational message across. Tests are seldom, but they are straightforward. He is definitely in the "student's corner." Want to take him again!!

The best professor I have ever had!! He makes class fun and exciting. He explains everything and very rarely gives tests/quizzes. The projects are actually fun and he really makes you think about things. AWESOME PROFESSOR! If I can take him for another class, I definitely will!!!

I highly reccomend this professor!! He makes the material fun/interesting and even practices what he teaches! Quizes and Tests are pretty easy as long as you read and come to class. The class is mostly discussion based with the use of powerpoints and activities. If you want a professor who is enthusiastic about the content I suggest you take him!

I looked forward to coming to his classes because he is so informative, engaging, thoughtful, and caring. He takes the time to teach by process not product and graded assignments comes with input. Sadly, even in the COEHS,some professors cannot model the teaching profession as well as he does. He should teach other UNF professor at the COEHS.
